About Capt. Kyle Giampaoli

Capt. Kyle Giampaoli is a professional fishing guide in Naples, Florida. Capt. Kyle has been guiding anglers since the early 90s and started his career in Lake Tahoe guiding anglers for trout. After several years of guiding in California, Capt. Kyle moved to Dillon, Montana and continued to guide on some of the most famous blue ribbon trout waters in the world. The Beaverhead River was a favorite and flows from Clark Canyon Reservoir right through downtown Dillon.

Several years of visiting South Florida gave Capt. Kyle the saltwater fever. He then made Naples his permanent home and is a full time fishing guide. The main pursuit is for tarpon, redfish and snook in the shallow waters of Naples, Marco Island and the Florida Everglades. Capt. Kyle also offers some exciting fall fishing trips to the exterior waters of the Southwest Coast for bonito (false albacore), redfish, snook, tarpon / baby tarpon, sharks and Spanish mackerel.

Being a young guide with plenty of enthusiasm and a continuing love for fishing, Capt. Kyle also offers night fishing trips for tarpon and snook. Please contact him for more information.

Capt. Kyle is also an excellent fly tier and has several patterns offered through Montana Fly Co. His saltwater patterns can be found with instructions on how to tie in the Fly Tying Bench section of the website.

Capt. Kyle participates in several tournaments each year. He was awarded Angler of the Year from the CCA for their year-long tournament. He also competes in the Southern Backwater Series, and the Red Snook Charity Tournament.

Map & Directions

As you can see by navigating this map, we have a tremendous amount of fishing area available to us. Finding fish that are unpressured and will readily eat a fly is much easier than in other parts of Florida where there are concentrated areas of fish and too many guides. Our fly fishing charters are available from south Naples, Marco Island, Goodland, Chokoloskee, Everglades City and the Florida Everglades National Park. Trailering the skiff makes it possible to fish many different areas, giving the angler a good overall experience.
